V-E-T N-O W-AY!

I'm NOT happy at all.

Look what Mom found. It's blurry cuz I don't want her to see it so I wiggled alot. But look. Click to bigify if you need to.

I have a Red Spot. And a Bald Spot there too. I've heard the following ominous words: Bath, tonight, V-E-T, Saturday. I also heard the words Grandma and Saturday mentioned near each other too, so at least I'll be getting lots of treats Saturday. But this isn't very good. I was just being a super good groomer, I didn't mean to give myself a spot....
We will update Saturday with how it goes, but Mom works late on Saturday so the update might not come til late (Dad and Grandma are taking me to the V-E-T, and they don't update the blog, only Mom does).

Our New Toy!

Niko: Uncle Mo sent Mom some q-pons. He sent one for free litter with purchase of crunchies, one for a furminator, and one for a fountain. Mom decided not to use the Furminator one after all because she found it much cheaper online (If anyone wants it, please email us or leaf a comment and we can send it over). But she got the food and litter, and the fountain. Let's see if we liked it:






Mom says that's a yes! And don't worry, she moved the cord to a better spot so it won't get wet and will be getting a cord cover for it shortly- until then we aren't allowed to use it unsnoopervised. These pictures were taken less than 2 minutes after it got set up- Cloud was checking it out while Mom was still filling it even, and I came running up not a minute later!

Thursday Thirteen- Cloud's Honest MeMe

We've seen the honest meme going around, so I'm going first, and then my brofur wants to play next week.

1. My full first name is technically "Cloudripper" because when I get nervous, such as meeting my new parents for the first time, I get really bad gas. Mom does not like when Dad uses my full first name.
2. I will be a year old in less than 4 months!
3. My middle name is Nine.
4. I get into a lot more trouble than my brofur.
5. I like to drink out of glasses.
6. I like to drink out of the toilet.
7. I like to help Mommy when she is playing video games by tapping on the keyboard and biting her paws gently. This makes her grumpy.
8. I am terrified of the outside.
9. I love to sleep on the radiator.
10. I love to swish food around in my bowl and play in the water bowl.
11. I love to climb up on the computer table. This is normally not allowed, but if I lay down between Mom's monitor and her computer and go to sleep, Mom has trouble picking me up from that tight spot and plus she feels bad about waking me up, so she usually lets me stay there.
12. I love to explore the entire house. I love shelves!
13. My favorite toy is string of all types.

(Niko: There was no arranging us by the humans, Cloud wandered in the carrier on her own, which was wierd as this was less than 24 hrs after she came home from the V-E-T, you'd think she'd have learned)

Tummy Update # 2

Cloud:Man, what a night! I had to go to the V-E-T last night just cuz I yakked a bunch yessirday morning and didn't want to eat dinner last night!
They put lots of water in me and stabbed me with anti-yak medicine!

Well, this morning I was very playful (I was alert yesterday and playful but not quite my usual high energy self). I hadded a few bites of breakfast, and yakked them up a little bit. But then after a bit I hadded lots more breakfast that had stayed down so far.

Mom and Dad are watching me carefully, and will also give me some anti-hairball medicine tonight (they are going to the pet store today to get some) to see if that might be my problem.
The V-E-T says I have to come back and gets lots of tests (but I didn't study!!)if I keep bomiting, but since it was only one small vomit today and I'm eating again, Mom and Dad are just going to watch me for right now. It definitely was me that bomited though, Dad actually saw me do it this time.

We will continue to keep you updated on me. Mom asks that you keep purring for me though, please.

Tummy Update

Niko:The Beans just came home, and they did not find any yak. They found food bowls that had been eaten out of, but she says that what we ate was "closer to the low end of normal".
I've been eating like a champ since dinner was served, but Cloud has only had a lick of food and then she's pawed at her food bowl a few times, but nothing else.
So Mom and Dad took Cloud to the V-E-T, where she was given flooids and stabbed with some anti-puke medicine, and she isn't allowed to eat or drink until morning now. Before Mom could take the food away Cloud tried to take a quick bite, so that was encouraging to Mom.
Cloud is also "clouding" quite a lot, the beans hope that passes soon cuz it is very very stinky! We will give you another update tomorrow!
