Niko:
Cloud won a gold medal. But she got in trubble for it.
See, it wasn't in one of the official cat-o-lympics entries. She made her own category. And Dad found out. He awarded her a gold medal. But then he said a few bad words.
See, the category she made was "Whapping things off the table".
And she whapped a cup of water off the table. Made a BIG mess. She's done this before too. It frustrates the beans.
Cloud:
How could anyone be fwustated at me???

Cat-Olympics: High Jump
Hey, everycat! Fin is hosting Cat Olympics!! We will be hosting the High Jump event.
All you have to do is post a picture of you jumping high on your blog (or if you don't have a blog, you can email us your entry to catsinmd at gmail dot com, but we prefer blog entries) and then put your link in the comments for this post.
Rules:
1. Provide a picture or video of you jumping high. If you want to be judged simply on how high you jumped, you should also if possible provide a second picture of the area with a yardstick or something in the shot so we can have some point of reference.
2. There will be two competition categories: technical high jump and artistic high jump. Technical high jump is just on how high you went. Artistic gets points for a mix of height and creativeness of the jump (where you are when you jump, silly expressions on your face, silly paw movement, etc).
3. No photoshopping except cropping and basic cleanup.
That's it. As many cats per household as want to can enter! Contest ends whenever the main catolympics ends!
(This post will be updated with sample photos as soon as catmanly possible)

Two-Cat Tuesday
Niko: My sisfur Cloud loves to lay on the radiator in the winter. Well, it only took the beans a year to figure out maybe I would enjoy it to, but I just can't jump well enough to get there. So they picked me up and put me on the radiator, and just look. Why do beans take so long to figure things out sometimes?
