We have awards to blog about and a meme and all sorts of fun stuff.
But right now we can't, cuz Mom's eyes are leaky and we have to make a pile o' purring on her...
See, the animal hospital that Texas boarded at over the summer wasn't Texas' / our regular vet, but rather one Mom picked out especially because they had good boarding. And so they did not know that Texas had went to the bridge, and so they sent mom a reminder card today that Texas would be due for a 6 month checkup soon, and Mom's eyes have been leaking alot since then.
We have to go purr on her now.

(((((HUGS))))) sometimes it's the smallest of things that make our heart ache like it was yesterday. enjoy the purrs you have in your lap and hold them tight. well, not so tight they run from you ;) i once held Edgar so tight when i was upset and leaking i scared him. i suggest gentle holds and find a smile from your memory.
It doesn't take much to make one leaky after a major loss. Your mom is entitled to leak (from the eyes only) so give her lots of cuddles and purrs. No claws or teeth, okay?
It will take your mom a little while to get over Texas not being around anymore. At least she has the two of you to keep her company. I am very sure that your antics keep her laughing.
Oh my, I know what that's like and it certainly does lead to leaky eyes. Good thing you are there to help her feel better!
Purr and Snugs... what a shock maybe it's Texas's way of sending your Mom love for the holidays.
Awwwww, please give your Mom a smoochie from me...
(Hugs) I know how you feel. When Whiskers went to the bridge the vet made an imprint of his paw that we can hang on the tree. My eyes started leaking the minute I got it out. I miss my 6 toed baby.

Your mum will get leaky eyes a lot which is only natural. It's your job to look after her and give her lots of comforting purrs.
Sending hugs and rumbly purrs to your Mom. That's an awful surprise to have in the post.
Rumbly purrs

Reminders like this are hard on our Moms....do your best by purrin and snugglin wif her and she will stop leaky eyes and remember with smiles our special Texas...

Awwww...you two go made your mom feel better...we know how much she misses Texas...
Our mom knows what it's like to get a reminder like that. Much as she loves us, there is always that special place in her heart for the cat that came before, who also succumbed to cancer. Give her some extra cuddles today!
Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Purring,
Abby Normal
Oh we are so sorry! Yes, the leaking never stops! Our maid still cries 16 month after Anastasia and 6 month after Emil went to the bridge.
It's your job in these cases to comfort her! And you'll see - it'll work. A little.

Oh goodness, we are furry sorry. That had to surely break your mommy's heart. We are sending comforting vibes her way!
We wanted to let you know that we have moved. Our new location is http://thecreekcats.blogspot.com/
It's always the littlest things that get you! We're sending tons of purrs and hugs, we know how hard it is.
Hi Niko and Cloud. Thanks so much for coming by to visit! Please purr your mom to console her for her loss...some of us hoomans get very leaky over our dear kitties who have left us, and it's nice when those who are still with us remind us that they still love us and need us (knead us). (Fuzzy also thought he should mention that he finds tear tracks to be a special treat and licks and licks them off my face...silly boy!)
Oh noes. We so sorry. Mama had the same reaction when the Cancer V-E-T did not take her off of their newsletter after Samantha died.
Our hearts are achin' for your Mama and we're all pilin' on and purrin' her sads away.
